Is the world really gonna end in 2012

Im 10 and i dont wanna die so soon. I heard 2030 we'll runout of resourses!

2012 is a fiction it hasent been provent that its going to happen and not everyone will die maybe no one just dont worry about it buddy

The end of the world is a load of pseudoscience, lies and fakery. Nothing more. So, no worries on that front.

As for running our of resources, they will last much longer than twenty years. Obviously, the sooner we embrace renewable energy the better, but it's not that much of a hurry.

There is plenty of oil in the ground, just much of it is expensive to extract. So, at the moment a lot is not economically viable. As oil/gas gets scarcer, the price rises, so we companies can afford to extract previously uneconomical reserves. Things like deep water exploration and Fracking, although not the best in the world (or, evidently, the safest), are helping the situation.

And yet the angles are not right.

“It happens near each solstice day.”
But it would no difference make,
You can be sure the thing’s a fake.
