Yes the sky is blue it may changes colors only because of the toxins in the air such as pollution that's why in city's when the sun is going down you see different colors such as reds yellows and purple.

The longer wavelengths of visible light are scattered so most of the light that gets through is blue. Also I believe that the nitrogen gas in the atmosphere is the culprit.

Our vision only let's us see blue, but it's actually all colours. The nitrogen scatters the blue more efficiently. That's why the sun looks yellowy orange
