"Sorry god, I was only trying to act tough"

There always has been earthquake. And there should be as long as the planet's core remains that hot.
I fail to see what envisioning future earthquake has anything to do with your belief that there is a god, or my lack of belief in same.

I believe that the two are unrelated.
First I live in the UK, not earthquake has been predicted here there fore i am not frightened
Second, If in a earthquake prone area I would not be frightened as it would be a risk of living there
and
3rd why would atheists be scared, should it not be those who are religious who are scared as they are the one who fear god and believe that these earthquakes are his doing. Just look at the church in Christchurch, NZ fall down because of an earthquake

Of course I'm frightened by the possibility of people being hurt or killed by an earthquake. Am I frightened that earthquake activity has something to do with a first-century superstition? Of course not. Such an idea is just preposterous and can't be taken seriously.
In every age, Christians have read Armegeddon into whatever natural disasters were occurring. In every age, they have been wrong. There is nothing different about today, except, perhaps, your ignorance of the history of natural disasters.

I'm terrified. Terrified of what many Christians will do if they think they were denied the rapture and are heathens and are going to hell, releasing them from normal constraints to do right and love thier fellow man. I'm terrified of what a 'good christian' is capable of if he has only been 'good' for fear of going to hell. Terrified that these Christians who now think they are going to hell regardless will go about raping and looting and becoming the demons they so feared before the apocalypse.
