Is this for real? Wouldn't it burn his hand

I know you can do this with the ball moving around constantly, but what about where he's holding it in place? Between his fingers? Wouldn't that burn you? I was too afraid to try it without asking.

He's only touching the cooler, blue underside of the fire, and he never keeps it staying on the same part of his hand for long. Still, this isn't something I would try!
