This problem is meant to relate relative polarities and their properties regarding solubility. Benzene (C6H6) is a very non polar molecule. Therefore, it will dissolve anything else very non polar. NaCl will not dissolve because it has a strong Ionic bond and would be the least soluble in benzene. The most soluble would be C3H8 because out of your choices it is the least polar molecule comparable to C6H6
