Hi, ok so I've been trying to study for my chemistry test, and I have an answer key. The problem i've been working on for the past hour is
V=3.00x10^8/5.00x10^-8 . Every time i try to put that in my calculator, it says SYNTAX ERROR.
I guess that means i'm putting it in wrong. The answer I'm supposed to be getting is 6.00 x 10^15, NOT SYNTAX ERROR.
So can anyone please tell me how to put it in?
It would mean alot, and I'm being tested on this tommorow morning and I really don't want to fail because I don't know how to use a calculator >.<
Thank you!

Use brackets. (3.00x10^8)/(5.00x10^-8)
Use that "E" button. (3.00E8)/(5.00E-8)
Use that "E" button. (3.00E8)/(5.00E-8)

Do you have a graphing calculator? If so, use that! I have a TI-84 silver edition and I love it! They are exensive though. If oyu have one, go into y= and enter it in. You can get the graph, specific points, and the equation right there.
