What makes tea so wet

It surely can't be the water, water doesn't taste quite so wet I just wonder what the property is :)

Believe it or not you can make water wetter I once used some water colour medium, although it was inedible sticky runny glue stuff.

Lack of gingernuts.

Erm, it actually is the water. Tea leaves on their own aren't wet at all. It's only when you add the wet water that the tea goes wet.
