Ok so I got my period and this is my first time going to the doctors for my yearly physical. I have two questions:
-do they still take a little peak "down there"
-what questions do they ask you (like about your period and stuff)
Thanks :)

Basically this is how the whole check-up experience goes:
You walk in and go to the front desk to sign in and tell them you are there.
You wait in the waiting room until a nurse comes out and calls your name.
You follow the nurse into a room and he/she measures your height and weight and takes your blood pressure and stuff like that (they might give you a shot depending on the visit).
Then the nurse leaves and you just wait in the room until the doctor comes in and starts asking you questions.
The questions are normally along the lines of "how is school going?" "how are your eating habits" etc.
They probably will only ask how long you've had your period and if you are getting cramps and stuff. They don't really ask more than that. "Down there" is really more dealt with by an OBGYN. After that, the doctor will probably check your eyes, ears and heart and then have you lay down on the table thing. Then, they might just peek up your shirt and down your pants for a quick second. They probably won't do more than that unless you've told them beforehand that you had a problem in that area. So, yeah I really wouldn't worry. They don't go into that much detail about your period because it happens to everyone and it probably won't affect the rest of your body that much. Most of their questions are purely routine.
