So I've been given the opportunity to take AP Chem in the fall. However, I haven't taken first year chem, and wasn't given a list topics I should know beforehand. Does anyone know what chemistry topics are covered in sophomore chem so I can study them over the summer? Thanks!

I just completed this course c:
First off, know your periodic table, trends, even try to know some by heart.
A very vast majority of Chem covers valence electrons, and making elements stable
Also look for transitions between phases, and the "mole" theory.
If you understand these, you should be well rounded. :)
However, AP Chem should be the same as a normal Chem class, just a tad more difficult :P Usually AP classes will teach you all of the same info, just quicker, ya know?
Eithee way, good luck!
