alright if I have four solutions 'A' 'B' 'C' and 'D' and each is one of the possibilities below:
Potassium Chloride
Lead Nitrate
Ammonium Nitrate
Calcium Chloride
Using only the solutions Sodium Carbonate and Silver Nitrate how do I find what A B C and D are?
or better yet can someone find what they are and prove it since i dont have these at home.
THANKS

ok... well, first....
Potassium Chloride - will have no precipitate with Sodium Carbonate but WILL precipitate AgCl when Silver Nitrate is added.
Lead Nitrate - will have a dark precipitate with Sodium Carbonate but WILL NOT precipitate when Silver Nitrate is added.
Calcium Chloride - will have a white-milky precipitate with Sodium Carbonate AND precipitate AgCl when Silver Nitrate is added.
Ammonium Nitrate - no precipitates!
