Please help and tell me how you got the answer... i really do appreciate it !
1.) When graphite reacts with hydrogen at 25'C, Delta(H) is -74.8 kJ/mol and Delta(S) is -0.0809kJ/ (Mol x K)? Prove your answer numerically.
2.) Will a reaction occur spontaneously at -10'C if the Delta(H) is -65.3 kJ/mol and the Delta(S) is -0.48 kJ/ (mol x K)? Prove your answer numerically.

2C + H2 --> C2H2, -74.8kJ/mole, ∆S = -0.0809kJ/mole-K
to determine spontaneity, you need to determine ∆G
∆G = ∆H - T∆S
∆G = -74.8kJ/mole - (298K x -0.0809kJ/mole-T)
∆G = -50.69kJ/mole, ∆G < 0, spontaneous
2. do the same thing as above, converting temperature to kelvin
∆G = ∆H - T∆S
to determine spontaneity, you need to determine ∆G
∆G = ∆H - T∆S
∆G = -74.8kJ/mole - (298K x -0.0809kJ/mole-T)
