5g of Na in one liter of water, then it would be 0.5Molar, etc.......
Number of moles of a substance in each liter of solvent.

For example, the molecular weight of Sodium (Na) is 23g. That means that 23g of sodium = 1 mole of sodium. If you have 23g of Na in one liter of water, then that would be considered to be 1Molar. If you had 11.5g of Na in one liter of water, then it would be 0.5Molar, etc.
