Your second answer is technically correct. If it is not looking for that, it is looking for the shorthand which would just be [Ar]. To do this kind of shorthand, put the noble gas from the previous line (or in this case the noble gas it is) and then write out the configuration. For example, K by itself would be [Ar] 4s1
