O2 is oxygen so thats obviously a gas. CO2 is carbon dioxide which is also a gas and H2O is water which is a liquid. An exception would be water vapor which itll then be H2O(g) but your questions specified it as being a liquid so yeah..........
Assume that liquid water forms in (C3H8+O2---------->CO2+H2O). Write a formula equation for the reaction that shows the physical states of all compounds.


I tried to do it but I was too confused..we just barely learned this today.

C3H8(g) + O2(g) ---> CO2(g) + H2O(l)
(g)=gas; (l)=liquid
Umm C3H8 is propane so it's a gas. O2 is oxygen so that's obviously a gas. CO2 is carbon dioxide which is also a gas and H2O is water which is a liquid. An exception would be water vapor which it'll then be H2O(g) but your questions specified it as being a liquid so yeah....
