6*32=3507.2 g=3.mass of oxygen needed to burn 1kg of pertol is 3.5072 kg.......
2C8H18 + 25O2 ---> 16CO2 + 18H20

molecular weight of petrol is 114g/mol

no of moles in 1kg of petrol = 1000/114 (1kg=1000g)
=8.77moles

2moles of petrol need 25 moles of O2

so 8.77 moles will need 8.77*(25/2)=109.6 moles of O2

1mole O2 wieghs 32 grams, so 109.6 moles weighs 109.6*32=3507.2 g=3.5072 kg of oxygen

mass of oxygen needed to burn 1kg of pertol is 3.5072 kg.
