NH4SH(s) yields NH3(g) + H2S(g) is the equation.
When solid NH4SH is placed in a closed flask at 28 degrees C, the solid dissociates according the above equation. THe total pressure of the equilibrium mixture is 0.766 at. Determine Kp at this temp.

Kp = P(NH3) X P(H2S)

Since the two gases are formed in equimolar amounts, the total pressure at equilibrium is twice the pressure of each gas. So, P(NH3) = P(H2S) = 0.766/3 = 0.383

Kp = 0.383 X 0.383 = 0.147
