How to make two solutions have the same initial temperature

If their are two solutions that are not at the same initial temperature, what can you/ should you do in order to make it so they have the same initial temperature?

Place the containers the solutins are in into a water bath and wait. The temperature should equilibrate in about 30 minutes depending on the volumes of your solutions and the difference in their temperatures.

Or you could just mix them and they will be the same temp. :-)
