What type(s) of spider has a yellow web

I'm in Texas an there are tons of these huge spiders that have yellow webs. And the other day I was watching "River Monsters goes Tribal" and the same type of spider was in the show (you can go onto YouTube and search for "Spider web Fishing" posted by "ChannerUK" and you can watch the clip). It shocked me that the same kind of spider was in some jungle, and I was hoping someone could tell me what kind of spider it is. Do you know?
