Therefore the evolutionary reason for baldness is not because premature baldness is advantageous, but because increased DHT production increases body hair, which is advantageous for people living in a cold climate, but the unfortunate side effect of increased DHT is follicle damage that leads to premature baldness. Premature baldness is therefore a byproduct of an adaptation to a cold climat, but not the desired product of natural selection.
There isn't an evolutionary reason behind everything... at least not a direct one.
Baldness happens because the hair follicle no longer produces and lengthens hair which is probably mostly due to genetics
... this was just a random thought of mine, but it could have something to do with the length of the poly-A tail of the genome and maybe a certain length in the tail will cause less of a hormone to be produced or something similar. And the length of the poly-A tail can be genetic as well as age related. But don't quote me on that last bit.
depend on too many factors....
hormones ,diet, exposure, gene ,emotions ...etc
