I'm 14 and when I masturbate, I'm pretty sure prec*m comes out but isn't it just there for the sperm. Mine was clear and watery but it was kind of sticky so is this prec*m or sperm? The first time it came out it was a few drops and not sticky but the second time it was barely any but kind of sticky. Was the second time it came out sperm? And does prec*m mean I've hit puberty? Please answer!

Pre-ejaculatory fluid, or prec*m, is for lubricating the urethra for a smooth passage for semen. For males who have surpassed puberty, this can come at anytime during masturbation or sexual intercourse. To answer your question, you are most likely hitting puberty, and will start to notice an increase in pre-ejaculatory fluid, and eventually semen will be regularly produced.
I hope this helps you dude.

Precum is known to be produced in the body before it produces semen. As a fourteen year old, it's not unheard of for you to not have entered puberty yet, but soon you should be producing semen.
You could be producing sperm, though at your age you should be noticing it's milky white character. But that doesn't mean it's not necessarily there - it can be clear or colorless.

Despite me being female, I am very knowledgeable in anatomy and physiology and, well, I'm not a virgin. So I suppose I have experience, also.
Pre-c*m, as both of those men said, has the purpose of lubricating the urethra for smooth passage of semen, but it's more than that. It also neutralizes and removes any traces of urine or bacteria that were just chillin in your urethra prior to your stimulation. Thus allowing for clean semen ejaculation.
Since you need pre-c*m before you can actually c*m, it only makes sense (even without a thorough knowledge of A&P) that it would start being produced first. Obviously ejaculating without pre-c*m is, well, not a good thing to happen. So don't worry, your body is prepared.
