A lot of people will attest otherwise, but it is a general trend that women are not attracted to bald men.
However, isn't male balding usually a sign of higher testosterone levels? (Since balding is caused by high DHT, the same hormone that increases penis size.)
Baldness is a distinctly male trait. So why is it that women usually find this trait unattractive? Biologically speaking, wouldn't it be expected that women are attracted to more male traits/characteristics?

I'm not sure it has any evolutionary significance. Baldness usually occurs with age. You're not going to find many 20 year olds with a bald patch. As such, it's not reproductively significant.
It might actually work as a signifier for age, which would be consistent with women finding it unattractive.

baldness is NOT uniquely a male trait. alopecia occurs in men and women. and yes, it is caused by greater testosterone concentrations. think of women that have gone through menopause, their hair tends to thin out without the balance of the other hormones with testosterone.
evolutionarily speaking, hair is meant to hold in body heat. the individual with the most body hair would be the warmest and most likely to survive cold environments. as humans evolved, we lost a lot of body hair leaving the majority of the hair on the head and in the pelvic regions, again, warmth. today, with the use of clothing and hats, people can stay warm without the hair present.
what women are attracted to in this day and age is confusing
