Please give me a simple definition for:
Spongy tissue
Stomata
Upper epidermis + lower epidermis
Palisade mesophyll
(They r from the crossection of a leaf)

Stomata- Pores on leaf or stem to allow gas exchange
Spongey tissue- In plants, it is part of the mesophyll, where it forms a layer next to the palisade cells in the leaf. It is for interchange of gases
Upper epidermis- Outer layer of cells of a leaf and lower epidermis is a more inner layer of cells
Palisade mesophyll- The palisade mesophyll consists of one or several layers of elongated, narrow parenchyma cells with their long axes at right angles to the axis of the leaf and are situated under the adaxial (outer) epidermis. Chloroplasts are especially concentrated in the palisade mesophyll and it is in these cells that much of the photosynthesis in a tree takes place.
