1)Most grass is poisonous. Most grasses contain large amounts of various toxins to discourage animals from eating them. The most common of these are various oxalates that suck calcium out of the bloodstream. That leads in very short order to brittle bones, swollen tissues and nerve malfunction. Any person eating a diet with substantial amounts of grass would likely end up dead within a year.
2)Grass is hell on the teeth. Grass leaves contain silica spicules that have once again evolved to discourage animals from eating grass. These silica spicules are much harder than teeth and they wear away the teeth very, very fast. Animals that eat a lot of grass either have constantly growing teeth or teeth that are very, very hard. Human teeth don’t grow at all after they erupt and are relatively soft. Any person living on a diet of grass would have cavities in every molar with 12 months, and would have no teeth left within 10 years.
3)Grass is mostly cellulose fibre and animals simply can not digest fibre. Animls like sheep and horses get around that problem by having guts filled with microbes that can digest fibre. The microbes digest the fibre, and the animal then digests the bacteria. The human gut has nowhere that fibre digesting microbes can grow.

Well that's not weird at all. Maybe if you dress as a goat you can trick your body into being able to digest it
