Evolution believers, answer me this

Common sense tells us something can't come from nothing. So, if you put a rock in a room, close the door, wait for a million years and then come back, do you really expect it to turn into a butterfly? Isn't this how you claim evolution works?

Just another reason why evolution is a theory in extreme crisis.

They will say something along the lines of, Nothing comes from nothing, except when we need it to make our theory work.

Talk about a science-of-the-gaps theory, the whole thing is a gap.

Not even close.

Not even REMOTELY within sniffing distance of being within the same ballpark.

In fact, if you took your words, transcribed them into Egyptian hieroglyphics on stone tablets, and then smashed the tablets, reading back the pieces in random order would probably be closer to the real theory of how evolution works than your description.


So *whew*! For a minute there I thought you had us and that evolution was really a "theory in extreme crisis".

But I see now that it's just another "Creationist straw man in extreme crisis" ... they burn so very easily.

First, I don't know who told you that rocks turn into butterflies, because that isn't so. What evolution is about is that things just change to match their environment. Once some ape needed to walk upright and if they didn't need as much hair, they changed accordingly. Nothing comes from nothing, things just change over a really long period of time to suit their needs.
