a failure of the corpus luteum to degenerate 20 days after ovulation?
and a lack of FSH production during the first 15 days of the menstrual cycle?
THANKYOU!!

Well...Hormone imbalance may cause this but Leutinising Hormone(ICSH) that triggers ovulation is an anterior pituitary hormone...
If the corpus luteum doesn't degenerate a hormone named Progesterone which is responsible for the maintenance of endometrium won't get produced as a result the implantation of the blastocyst won't happen thus as a result gestation or pregnancy fails to happen.
FSH or follicular stimulating hormone synthesized and secreted by gonadotrophs of the anterior pituitary gland triggers the follicle growth to make it matured Graafian Follicle...therefor without maturation of follicles Ovulation won't happen thus menstrual cycle will get disturbed thus the whole reproductive process gets disturbed..
