Monohybrid crosses in biology? help please!

is that right?if so, i was thinking that i would do yy X GG. would that be right? if so then how would i find the geno and pheno typic ratios? (i dont even really know what those are).......
3. Cross a homozygous yellow seeded pea pland with a homozygous green seeded pea plant (green seeds are dominant over yellow seeds). What genotypic and phenotypic offspring will result and in what ratio?
i think that homozygous means that both the genes are the same, is that right?

i had the same problem, staying after with the teacher helps alot...

anyways,
homo does mean of the same.
you want to use the same letters..
so it would be
(i use b)
bb X BB

you have to use the square in the end you would have..

bB
bB
bB
bB

in the end you would have ALL green seeds 100%
the B means dominante, so you will always have that distinct characteristic if you have dominant.
unless you are doing co-dominance.
trust me this is the easy ones.. if you dont understand talk to your teacher, i had to and i got my 1st A on a test for that class.(: baha, sounds bad but true. now i totaly understand.

Since green is dominant, the green allele is represented by G, and the yellow allele is represented by g. Therefore the homozygous green plant has the genotype GG and produces G gametes. The yellow plant has the genotype gg and produces g gametes. The Punnet square is:
_____G___
g____Gg__←all plants have green seeds and are homzygous
