Is this phenomenon scientifically possible?

Islamic prophet Muhammad prophesied that the sun will rise in the west and set in the east just before the doomsday. He added that this phenomenon will lead all the herbivorous animals to get extinct and it was a major endtime prophecy in his prophetic life.. Can we discuss this phenomenon in the light of science?? Is there any possibility?? If it really occurs, what will be the reactions or consequences??
