So much hype! Where's the hype about why it didn't happen?

Well, ..., because it was all a very finely crafted elaborate hoax that everyone believe. Many of us on this forum offered great arguments and many proofs as to why the world would not end and everything would continue on as it did today (12/2/2012). However, at the end of the day no one chose to believe us. Now, in the light of stark reality everyone believes us.

Maybe now, you will start believing those of us who are Christians and accept the light of God's message for Humanity. Jesus is coming back but not on a day that anyone will be able to predict. Instead He wants to give everyone a chance to know Him before the end comes. John 3:16-17.

You too! It's a great to meet another believer on this forum and thanks for the best answer!

Still on schedule in 4 to 5 billion years. All that 2012 hype was obvious nonsense from the very beginning. If you knew anything about the magnetic polar shifts, you knew they were intentionally misrepresenting the evidence on those 2012 documentaries. If you understood electricity and the power grid, you knew they were exaggerating the impact of solar flares, most certainly in our ability to compensate for any damage. If you understood anything about the distances in space, you knew the planetary or brown star collision was bogus. If you knew the Mayan calendar, you would know they never predicted doomsday and the long count did not roll over, only the 13th baktun rolled over, the Mayan calendar is only 65% through it's current long count which rolls over on Oct. 13, 4772. Just goes to show how easily people are fooled with simple misrepresentations by not checking them. How many people bothered to look up if the Mayan calendar actually rolled over? How many people actually looked up the report on magnetic pole shifts? Or what intermediate repairs can be made if a large transformer burned out and a replacement wasn't immediately available?
