To create something out of "nothing" is something nothing can do, literally. Two ways as to how something comes from nothing are as follows: one, a parallel universe contacts our own universe, and all the energy from the motion is tranferred to our universe, or two, it is generated by space, and has a chance to become real, as stated in earlier answers. The big bang could be caused by anything, and although I have my own theory as to how this is, I will remain humble and see what more established scientists have to offer. Matter can't poof into existance without the help of energy. a perfect vacum can spontaneously create energy, and that energy can create matter, so spoken in simple terms. the big bang is credited with creating all matter. So that's that's. In regards to your last question, I personally believe God created everything, and that perfect math and science can prove his literal existance, but I simply can't publically proclaim that he did it and expect the world to simply take my word for it. If you are looking for a none biased answer I'm afraid there is no such thing, and I know not of when, or how there will be one. For those of you who do believe in God, take note that being biased is considered incorrect, so proclaiming something to be the truth without valid reason, i bitterally admit, is false. However, for those of you who do not believe in god, that's fine, but proclaiming him to be false is the equivalence of saying that life is false, because you have no DIRECT and valid proof that he doesn't exist, although it "seems" that way.

Cosmology: The Study of the Universe

Cosmology is the scientific study of the large scale properties of the universe as a whole. It endeavors to use the scientific method to understand the origin, evolution and ultimate fate of the entire Universe. Like any field of science, cosmology involves the formation of theories or hypotheses about the universe which make specific predictions for phenomena that can be tested with observations. Depending on the outcome of the observations, the theories will need to be abandoned, revised or extended to accommodate the data. The prevailing theory about the origin and evolution of our Universe is the so-called Big Bang theory.
