ARE THE RINGS AROUND SATURN MADE OF?

-
As campbel said, the REAL colors of the planets are all very very pale. Photographers and astronomers magnify not only the image but also the difference in colors of most pictures taken in outer space. The actual colors you would see with your eye are all mostly white with just tiny bit of red, yellow, green, blue, brown, etc. With modern film and electronics, it is hard to draw a line between unenhanced pictures and enhanced pictures since different sensitivity to different frequencies is inherent in any "eye". Scientists go to great lengths to adjust the pictures of the Mars Landers to make them look approximately what our eyes would see if we were there. It is a very difficult problem. Our eyes are sensitive to not only the color of the object, but the color of the light and the color (and brightness and contrast) of the surroundings.
The rings of Saturn are composed of 99.9% water ice, with very small amounts of other gasses and rock dust.
