How would the moon appear from Earth if the moon did not rotate?
Would it face the same way all the time?
Also, A (solar/lunar) eclipse occurs when the moon passes into Earth's shadow. A (solar/lunar) eclipse occurs when Earth passes into the moon's shadow.

The reason that we only see the near side of the Moon is because it's rotation is tideally locked to the Earth. The Moon does rotate, it's just that it's rate of rotation matches it's orbital period.
So, if it didn't rortate, we'd see it's rear side as it orbited the Earth.
Yeah, we get the two kinds of eclipses; What was your point about them ?
