Noah's wood?? I assume you mean the ''controversy'' about scraps of wood people have claimed to have retreived from the remains of Noah's Ark - either from Mount Ararat, or another mountain in the mountains of Ararat, or some other mountain - depending upon the story presented. This lack of consistency *alone* would make me (and most people with an IQ higher than re-warmed custard) have grave doubts about the veracity of the story tellers. Personally, I can't help recalling that one of the *major* ''researchers'' into the actual, physical Noah's Ark was a gentleman who had no archeological training - whose secondary education was in the field of nursing, and yet who - in a period of less than 10 years, managed to 'find' such stunning artifacts as: wood from Noah's Ark (fully intact and resting on a ledge on the eastern side of Mount Ararat), a cup found in Joseph of aramathea's tomb *directly* under the hill of Golgotha where Christ was crucified, filled with blood that had dripped down the cross and soaked through the ground to drop into the cup,
Lessee... what else has he found? - ah, yes - the wheel of the Pharoah's chariot from the escape of the Jews and the parting of the Red Sea, wood from Noah's ark, found intact upon a mountain facing Ararat (yes, I was astonished that this meant there were *two* Noah's arks!!) and various other simply astonishing finds that people with dozens of years of experience could not seem to find...
