4. Valeri Polyakov holds the record for spending the most time in space. He launched 8 January 1994 aboard the Soyuz TM-18, stayed at the Mir space station for 437.7 days, during which he orbited the Earth about 7,075 times and traveled 300,765,000 km (186,887,000 mi), returning 22 March 1995 aboard the Soyuz TM-20 spacecraft.

5. Astronauts *must* exercise regularly in space to prevent muscle and bone loss from being in a micro gravity environment. Often times, people who spend too much time in space return to Earth and can't walk for the first few days until their bodies adapt to Earth gravity again.

Firs things first, it seems like you think that when your in space, you are always in an anti-gravity mode. This is not true, they can change the air pressure in the space ship so they either have gravity or don't.

1. They eat normally but before they leave Earth they completely dehydrate their foods to keep it from spoiling and re-hydrate them with a tube of liquid when in space. For meats they have to expose it to radiation to give it a longer shelf life.
2. They go normally but with normal air pressure.
3. They are in space for long time (a few months) but that completely depends on how for they are going.
4. I don't think they can be in space for too long, they would run out of food quicker and they're bodies would not adapt to that lifestyle.
5. They would use their muscles in space but not as much.

1. They eat normally, but all the food is freeze-dried, and they can't eat ice cream.
2. The waste is sucked up and freeze dried till they re-enter Earth.
3. It varies on the missions they are doing.
4. Manned space expedition, it is Soyuz TM-18
5. It varies from the time in space, but usually not very. The astronauts still exercise in space so they do not forget how to walk, or their muscles forget how to function.
