I think I understand the point of your question - the moon is much more "obvious" to us than the other planets due to distance, i.e., the moon is only 240,000 miles away, while the closet planet - Venus - is 25.5 MILLION miles away.
-
I don't understand your question. We CAN see all the other planets. Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn are all visible with the naked eye, and Uranus and Neptune with a small telescope.
-
We can see other planets. We can see Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn.

240,000 miles vs multiple MILLIONS of miles. Consider this - IF the Earth were 'still flat' , and you were standing in Los Angeles do you think you could see the Statue of Liberty? That's only about 3000 miles!
-
You can see other planets, you just need to know what to look for. Venus and Mars are easily seen with the naked eye.

i do...i love to watch The Sky At Night with the legend that is Patrick Moore :o)
mars , galaxys , milky ways...almost makes you hungry thinking about it. ; )

Other planets are really small
The moon is so big that it can be seen from anywhere in the universe.
Its really a no brainer.

the moon is WAY closer.
-
we can actually. to jupiter with the naked eye
-
You REALLY can't figure this one out?
-
because the moon is closer to our planet.
