How do you think the universe will end

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-05-16] [Hit: ]
-Not possible.-The universe will not end. Its people, places and things that have endings.......
Just wanted to know everyones opinion on it.

I think it a pretty safe assumption that it ends in universal heat death some trillion trillion years from now. Plenty will disagree with me on that but I've not seen much evidence that swings me any other way for now.

However it will have stopped being any fun in about 100 Trillion years when the last of the very long lived red dwarf stars burn out their energy and fade away. After that there is no visible light left anywhere in the cosmos.

I agree with Orac completely. That is the natural conclusion to a universe that is expanding at an accelerating rate, but it is so far away that trillions of years are the correct yardstick to measure it with, and the Universe is only 13.7 billion years old now, so the time horizon in incomprehensible to the human mind.
