Depends on what you mean by "dark".
There are several web-based twilight calculators. They will commonly give civil, nautical, and astronomical twilight times. (They are based on the sun being 6 degrees, 12 degrees and 18 degrees below the horizon, respectively).
timeanddate.com has one. Here's the link for Toronto. You can plug in a lat/log for more accurate timing.

Well, I live in southern Ontario too, but probably it won't get dark at the same time for me as it does for you, because southern Ontario covers a lot of territory. It also depends on what you mean by "dark": there are three definitions of twilight. Civil twilight = Sun 6° below horizon; nautical twilight = Sun 12° below horizon; astronomical twilight = Sun 18° below horizon. Tonight, where I live (just north of Orillia), the Sun sets at 8:38, civil twilight ends at 9:12, nautical twilight ends at 9:55, and astronomical twilight ends at 10:45.
