What is the speed of dark?
-
0 zero stationary and all pervasive..come over to the dark side..
-
Same as the speed of light.
Dark is the absence of light.
So, for dark to "get" somewhere it needs light to vacate the spot and move on. Light moves at light speed (obviously).
Think of it this way, if the sun magically poofed out of existence it'd take about 8 minutes and 20 seconds for the dark (which is really the last light to pass the earht) to reach the earth.

Dark is not a physical entity or something that can be measured. Its not even the opposite of light. Darkness is just the absence of light! therefore no speed...

A Sci-Fi novel by Elizabeth Moon

It depends on how fast the light source is moving. It would move as fast as the light source because the light source would drive the darkness.

Speed of dark = speed of ignorance. Same answer I gave the last time this question was asked by the same troll.

This stupid question has been asked many times. Another one - 'How long is a piece of string?'. Go away.
