Firstly I want to tell you that no one has seen future, anything can happen. But the 2012 hypothesis, I strongly disagree. Even it took 100 years for the extinction of dinosaurs but today the world's population is more than 5 billion. Then how can earth be ended in a single day ? So, our destinies have been written long ago....nothing can be predicted precisely. The Mayan calender gets renewed after the date of 2012. I hope my message is clear to you.......

Survival depends on the kind of destruction by the nature. For example natural calamities like tsunami and earthquakes and even fire accidents. As we all remember what happened to Japan a few days ago. A destruction was expected in 2011 and it ended in japan.

No 2012 is just the date the mayan calendar ended it says nothing about the world ending most likely the calender ended was because the spainish came and killed them all the mayans.
