will we possibly see something discovered that will open one door after another in rapid succession, seeing the way we live change so drastically it could be tantamount to suddenly having electricity after never having seen it before?

what they're prolly looking for now, is an established pattern of quark behavior,..if at any time they come across what looks to be predictable behavior of these subatomic particles, then the mastery of gravity will not be far behind.
there's also a fair chance that teleportation can be developed to a usable state.
what will definitely have to happen in research, is some egghead looking at things outside the box, from another perspective. the laws and theories of physics and quantum physics break down to nothing more than hearsay and guesstimation at the quantum level; nothing we know of as established physics law works or makes sense at the quantum level, and there must be a reason for that...scientists being scientists, will eventually find out why that is, and there's a good chance it wont be thru conventional methods.
i'm still intrigued by the way a housefly seems to phase in and out of our physical plane; you see him buzzing around here one second, then suddenly he disappears and re appears elsewhere a short distance away..
sense everything seems to boil down to either wavelengths or digital mathematics, i'm waiting to see how these two concepts play out in explaining quantum physics.
with all energy basically being the same thing, it stands to reason replicators are also possible...put a handful of some type of matter in, and a cheeseburger comes out.
there is a simple secret in the cycle of life and death, that man has yet to grasp fully; the cycle of birth and rebirth, of the changing of seasons, of the harmony and cyclical order of the universe itself...there's a sign that God put out there for us, and we're not ready to see it yet.
the fact that space is a frictionless vacuum, is in itself a clue as to how we should travel long distances in the future space voyages...
the next big thing coming up is prolly the singularity: computers becoming more intelligent than their creators...will that open a pandora's box, when they also decide to become self aware?

yes quantum physics give use a better understanding on how the universe was created and how it works . with out quantum physics will wouldn't be able to answer some of the bigger question about how we randomly came into existents or how something could be made out of nothing .
