What is the most advanced piece of technology on Earth at the moment

I was waiting for the 'Cold Fusion' to happen to blossom as technology. LHC is a one of a kind, whereas Technology should be one integral piece that is repeatable. Though old the 'Space shuttle' is the most advanced, still.

All current technology is equally advanced. Every invention took the same amount of time to get where it is today.

Any particular technology will be the most advanced there is until and unless it is replaced by an improved technology.

Money and effort has nothing to do with whether a tech is advanced. All that matters is whether it's the best tech available, or not. You can spend decades and billions developing a technology, but if someone else invents something better in one year and ten dollars, the better one is still more advanced.

the f-35 is an expensively designed all-purpose aircraft, but it's not as good as a mig-35 ovt or a t-50, which were cheaper. Just because the Pentagon showered money on something doesn't make it advanced.

Well, ..., at this moment in time, I'd say the Hadron Super Collider is the most advanced technology on Earth. It brings together the top echelons of many different technologies into one super unit. Thus, it has my vote as the most advanced technology on Earth.

As far as Non-classified technology goes the Large Hadron Collider takes the cake! It accelerates particles to %99.9 of the speed of light, smashing those into other highly accelerated particles.

The efforts to building and maintaining it is just baffling.

There is no simple answer for this question, depends on specialization of the subject. For example: it is LHC for particle accelerators, Saturn V for rockets, Airbus A380 for commercial airplanes, F-35 for fighter aircrafts etc.

I'm not sure; there is probably technology I'm not aware of... From what I know, I'm going to guess the hadron super collider.
