detail within the rings of Saturn, and the polar caps of Mars. Under dark skies you should be able to see all the Messier objects.-Youll be getting an image that is 4 times brighter. Look for the the Ring nebula (M57) in Lyre and the Triangulum Galaxy (M33) in Triangulum.Time to go through the Messier list.......

This telescope will be a LOT better than your 60mm refractor. It has more than twice the resolution and nearly 5 times the light gathering power. It will show you at least a couple of cloud belts on Jupiter, detail within the rings of Saturn, and the polar caps of Mars. Under dark skies you should be able to see all the Messier objects.

Time to go through the Messier list.

Be patient. It takes a while to develop and eye, and understand the significance of what one is seeing.

Let's hope you can see a bright future through it.

P.S. Notice how proud the old coots are of you already.

Everything will be 4.70 times better than with your old one: (130²/60² = 4.7)
Let us know what you see!
