As the sun has just set, will it be rising at the othe end of the world

The Earth is a round ball that continuously curves around until it circles back onto itself. The sun, therefore, is ALWAYS setting and at the same time ALWAYS rising.........
I'm just on a bit of a hill waiting for my friend to come back out, and I was watching the sunset and it just made me wonder if as it has just set, will it now be rising somewhere else?

There is no "other end of the world". The Earth is a round ball that continuously curves around until it circles back onto itself. The sun, therefore, is ALWAYS setting and at the same time ALWAYS rising... at different places on the Earth.

Yes.

The Sun is constantly "rising" somewhere.
If you were able to see Earth from space, you would see a "line" separating the lit portion from the dark portion. This line is called the "terminator"

On the west terminator, people are witnessing a sunrise. Earth's rotation is bringing them into the lit portion.
On the East terminator, people are witnessing a sunset. Earth's rotation is bringing them into the dark portion (night).

If you are smack in the middle of the lit portion, it is noon for you (at least, in solar time - if your clocks are on daylight-saving time, then the clocks will show the time as being one hour ahead).

This means that a person that is "antipodal" to you (located exactly on the opposite side) will be smack in the middle of the dark portion, and it will be midnight for them.

If you are right on the east terminator (sunset for you) then the antipodal observer will be on the west terminator (sunrise for them).

Since the Earth is a sphere, it has no "other end." What you are probably asking is whether the Sun will be rising on the opposite side of the world, and the answer is, approximately, yes. Not exactly because the tilt of the Earth's axis makes it somewhat inexact.

-
Of course... the world is a big ball - as it turns, the sun appears to set on one side, and rise on the other.

-
The world doesn't have an "end" Yes it will be rising 180 degrees of longitude from your location.

-
No...the sun has gone to bed...

-
Yup. 8am the next day in New Zealand.
