Do they live or hunt in any groups or packs or prides or are they "loners"?

-
No leopards are completely opposite from lions, living solitary lives, appearing in pairs only when mating, as are all other cats. Lions are only exception to this habit.

Leopards are solitary creatures preferring to live alone except the mother with her cubs regardless of the cat species of leopard we're talking about (I.e. African, Indian, Javan, Arabian, Amur, North Chinese, Persian, Indochinese, Sri Lankan, Anatolian, Clouded, Snow, Leopard cat, etc.) All of these leopard species/sub-species are all solitary animals who would rather live alone on their own.

Leopards, like most cats are not social. Lions are the only real exception to this. However, cubs will stay with their mothers for extended time, and occasionally males will band together to hold a territory. But this is about as social as they get. They do not form long term 'groups'.

-
Neither. Leopards are solitary big cats such as tigers, cheetahs, mountain lions, and jaguars.
