Why would a bee carry a ladybug from leaf to leaf

......
I just happened to notice a bee on a rose bush that was carrying what looked like a dead ladybug from leaf to leaf not flower to flower. Do they feed on other insects? I have a picture albeit (pun there) a crummy phone picture.

-
Bees do funeral escorts for lady bugs.
