Killer whales also known as orcas are found in all the different oceans and most of the world's seas. They have a preference for cooler waters and thus higher latitudes and prefer coastal areas to the open ocean. The highest concentrations are usually found off the coast of Norway, around the Aleutian islands and in the gulf of Alaska, and around the coast of Antarctica. Although called whales they are actually the largest type of dolphin.

Killer whales live in the cold waters of the Northern Pacific & Atlantic Oceans & the Arctic Sea. They are often found off the Western coast of North America, near Alaska and British Columbia. Killer whales also live south of Africa and Australia in the cold Arctic Seas and Tropics. In the winter the families of killer whales migrate to warmer waters. That's where their young are born.
