I was thinking about buying a teacup pig; they're so small and cute! From what I've heard, teacup pigs grow up to be the size of a medium-sized dog. I have also heard that they get very, very large.
So how big do the pigs get?

The true teacup royal dandy pigs are bred by only one breeder (at least in the United States). These are the pigs that will definitely stay tiny small. The "dandy extremes," the smallest ones you can buy, range from 12 to 29 pounds when grown. You can visit the site: www.royaldandie.com
Here's a site for normal, non-"royal dandy" teacup pigs: http://www.teacuppiggies.com/default.htm…
The problem is with the genetics. Just because a pig's parents are small doesn't mean that their genes mixed in a way that guarantees the pig baby will be small. However, there's also an issue with bad breeders/sellers: some breeders sell pot belly pigs as teacup pigs, which of course, they're not!
