I have lived in the United Arab Emirates ,
85% ,usually they are just wondering around or with a farmer in the desert looking for something to eat and walking peacefully.
However in some occasions such as being forced by the owner ,or when Camel Races are held they are running with great speed.
but on experience i would say if it was trained to (for races) then yes .
but mostly no.

Yes camels can run bot most of the time they like to walk. They run only when they are something strange.

no animals like to work.But we Have to work for food.
