Shear strain - physics question

-γ = τ/G = 1.1E7/5.0E9 = 0.therefore it is not 0.0022 radians. its just 0.......
A material has a shear modulus of 5.0 × 10⁹ N/m². A shear stress of 1.1 × 10⁷ N/m² is applied to a piece of the material.

What is the resulting shear strain?

-
γ = τ/G = 1.1E7/5.0E9 = 0.0022 radians

-
shear strain is unit-less as it has the definition of dL/L

therefore it is not 0.0022 radians. its just 0.0022, being the ratio of the change in length over the original length.
