I been curious a long time about the smallest one seeing on TV how they clashed those atoms together at high speeds.

Right now, the smallest discovered particle known is that Higgs boson. Eventually I suspect, even smaller sub particles are going to be detected.

Totally bogus answer. In fact the Higgs that was recently discovered weighs in at 126 GeV which makes it the most massive of all the sub atomic particles. Bug out military supporter, you're out of your league here.

I'm not sure if we have already discovered the smallest of the smallest, but the smallest things we know of are neutrons. They are what atoms are made of.
