I need to know RIGHT NOW so answer up people.

Communication, our satellites that connect all people in the world on electronic devices communicate via radio waves which are electromagnetic waves... This is just one of many many reasons why it is important

Light and heat are electromagnetic waves. If they couldn't travel through space we'd have no light and heat from the sun therefore plants couldn't photosynthesise, therefore there'd be no oxygen for us to breathe and no food for us to eat - the meat we eat is from animals that feed off plants. We'd also have no heat from the sun so our oceans would most likely freeze so there'd be no liquid water and again no life.

We would not even exist unless it could. The earth would be at ABSOLUTE ZERO temperature.
The radiation from our sun is the most basic need for life to exist.
Radiant heat is electromagnetic radiation.

So NASA can communicate with satellites via pictures, temperature, star distance. Idk I'm taking a wild guess

We would have to invent some VERY clever reason for oceanic tides. Or maybe there wouldn't be tides, since the water would be frozen!
